Robert Almeida brings a strong business management perspective to Portland. He was a former executive at Loblaw and CIBC. Robert worked in various strategic and operating capacities at Loblaw Companies Limited, most recently as Vice President, Development and Reengineering. He also worked for CIBC as Senior Vice President, where he was the first President of President’s Choice Financial; Chief Officer, Strategy, Product and Marketing, Amicus Holdings USA; and the founding Chairman of Amicus Bank Canada.

In addition to his CA designation, Robert also earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree with High Distinction from the University of Toronto.
